FORMER STATE FFA ADVISOR AND AG CONSULTANT
HAS PASSED AWAY, SUNDAY, JULY 15, 2007
Roger Lawrence, former State AG Consultant
for the Connecticut State Department of
Education passed away this Sunday. Attached
is the obituary for your to read. Besides
what is written in the article, Roger was a
devoted advocate of agricultural education
and Connecticut FFA. He received his
Honorary American FFA Degree for serving on
the National Board of Directors for the
National FFA, he organized the Connecticut
FFA Alumni were is served as advisor, he was
a member of the Connecticut FFA Foundation,
serving as Secretary, served as a member of
the Connecticut Trustees at the BIG E. He
also worked at the BIG E Farm-A-Rama
building in organizing the many FFA
activities in that facility. He was one of
the main movers and shakers in establishing
